Catch up
I have been busy trying to make Christmas presents, decluttering and keeping the kids busy.
The big kids have finished the school year. They are keen to start the new year at school and I cannot convince them otherwise. The greatest gift you can give a child (or anyone) is choice.
Their reports were favourable. Excelling in areas I am aware of such as numbers and maths for my eldest son and reading for them both. No problems at all and both have excellent attitudes in the classroom.
I hope we can all enjoy the holidays and make the most of them.

Christmas is fast approaching in just 5 days. The new year a week later. Its gone fast, this year. And when your 2 eldest children say the same, its scary. Where does the time go?

Jackorama
The kids were performing in the school concert which was called Jackorama (tribute to Michael Jackson). Each class did a song each with the whole school coming out after the grade 6 came out in their graduation outfits. They loved it and the audience enjoyed the night as you can hear from the noisy audio on these videos.
My daughter was nervous yet excited to introduce a class.
"Ease on down the road"
"Can You Feel It"
Out of sync but they had fun.

Kids Easter 2009
The school holidays are almost over. We still don't have a car we can all fit into, thus we haven't been away on holidays. Its been a bit ho hum.
I am very pleased my kids didn't get many easter eggs. Knowing my stance on slave chocolate and consumerism, I appreciate that. I did get them pajamas. Yes, I have a problem with buying my children an excessive amount of clothing. I am slowing down and hope that I wont have to buy for another 6months.
