The big kids had Pioneer day today at Church. After that activity, the boys went to a friend's 4th birthday party. He will be returning to the US soon.
I made him two washcloths, one has the Autobots logo, the other is crocheted. Av amuses me when he sings the Transformer theme song. "I'm all misty eyed" Instead of "More than meets the eye."
I really like the look of crocheted loafers. I improvised the shoe except the insoles which is from the teddy bear loafer pattern. I used recycled yarn and even crocheted the buttons. I think they turned out alright and quite cute. They would fit about 3-6 months and are destined for the gift box for the next baby who would suit them.
Bamboozle is a lovely yarn with a heavy drape. Does split but so does most soft (not twisted) cottons and I guess bamboo. This is my first time using bamboo yarn.
Very happy with this simple red hat, crocheted in wool. Though difficult to photograph, I like the vibrant red.
I really enjoy crochet and I am improving so much that I think I can now say I can crochet.
