Musical Hoodie

I started with hand coloured organic merino in my fave colours, balck, red and purple. Red is a challenge to photograph in my experience.
I made a guitar applique which I put on the lower back. The buttons are shaped like plectrums (guitar picks) so its fun!
It was a lovely day today with tiny flowers showing up in our overgrown lawn and the sun shining.

First attempt at needle felting

I felt inspired to try needle felting. It was meant to be a teddy bear but I found it wasn't looking like one so here is Thing and Guitar.
At least the kids thought they were cool.

Oh and I did slice my finger with the needle.

Teaching an old dog new things

I learnt some new things making this vest. Applied I-cord edging, backstitch embroidery and provisional cast on. All easy enough too.

I got my BaaBums on

This was Av in BaaBum longies as a toddler. He was 16 months.




J tried them on at 8 months. I love these longies.

Guitar Rocker

We decided to get our big boy a guitar for his birthday. He wanted one and hubby agreed (so he could play it no doubt).



The whole family is enjoying it.







Even J enjoyed a nap as Av played loud!
