Shorties crocheted with unspun roving. I have been wanting to make these for a while. The lavender is 10ply equivalent while the body is chunky/ super bulky.

Roving wild

Crocheted from roving, mostly spun single, I really like this hat.
Sadly J has nil interest in wearing hats atm.

Spun

I bought an Ashford low whorl hand spindle and merino roving some time ago.
I finally got around to trying to spin. Just a small amount that took a while to acquire…Getting quicker though more experimental. I am not sure if I am doing it ‘right’ but thats the fun of it.
Single ply because plying is something I don't quite get.
